First Day of Kindergarten

Who remembers their first day of Kindergarten? Anyone? Well I do. It's vague, but I remember bits and pieces. I remember being dropped off at daycare that morning and daycare would take all the students to school on the bus. I was so nervous. I was scared I was going to miss my bus for actual school. I remember staying in one spot in front of the T.V to make sure when they called my bus number (I think it was 4?) I wouldn't miss it. All the other kids ran around the gymnasium, but I was so nervous and I didn't know anyone I just stayed there. Eventually a little girl came up to me and asked to play with me. If I remember correctly her name was Morgan. I told her I couldn't because I didn't want to miss the bus for school.
Morgan: "What school are you going to?"
Me: "Sugar Hill."
Morgan: "Me too, what's your teachers name?"
Me: "Mrs.Young"
Morgan: "That's my teacher! We can go together."
And it was that easy. Morgan and I became friends that year. Even though I ended up meeting one of my best friends that same year, only we stuck our tongues out at each other the entire year. Shout out to Aleaka Cooper! Anyways, I told this story because I hope my sweet shy Alivia finds a Morgan or becomes a Morgan for someone else. I hope she finds her Aleaka Cooper. I hope she forgets her worries and makes a best friend for life. I hope she learns all that Kindergarten can teach her. I hope she doesn't let boys be mean to her. I hope she finds the courage to raise her hand. I hope she stays oblivious to the world around her for just a little while longer. My sweet sweet sissy, I hope she becomes a better me one day. ❤️
